Viz says, "Preorder 'Naruto Shippuden - The Movie'!"
The good folks at Viz would like you to know that Naruto Shippuden: The Movie is coming 
out on DVD November 10, 2009. Viz states that the DVD will be uncut and dubbed into English and Amazon states that there will be subtitles as well.
From the press release, "A powerful spirit that once threatened to destroy the world is back! Naruto's mission is to protect a priestess named Shion, who is the only one with the power to seal away the monster. She also has the uncanny ability to predict someone's fate. her latest prediction: Naruto will soon die. Naruto's only hope is to abandon Shion, but that's not Naruto's style. He decides to face her fatal prediction head-on--and die!"
The MSRP for this DVD release will $24.92 (U.S.) or $35.99 (Canada). However, it is currently available for preorder for the low, low price of $17.99 from either Amazon or Viz.

ReplyDeleteYeah, well what can I say? *lol* I've never even watched Naruto before and unless Viz gives me a review copy, I never will. Certainly, I have no interest in watching it in English. Heck, just the video starting and having the announcer mew the title was bad enough for me. ^_^;;;
