Space Battleship Yamato Live-Action Movie Trailer (WOW!)

This has to be the first live-action movie out of Japan that has excited me, enough so that I want this licensed VERY badly! The movie may still suck, but visually, this thing looks great and appears to be capturing the good elements of the Space Battleship Yamato anime series.

Well, what do you guys think, whether or not you've seen the Space Battleship Yamato anime or the Star Blazers American domestication?

  2. Looks damn good. I hope we get to hear some of the familiar music from the show. Between this and the new anime movie and rediscovering Yamato with the original (non-Star Blazers) eps. I'm quite happy.
