Aniblog Tourney 2012
For those who don't know me, I'm AstroNerdBoy, a guru of sort for the canon Tenchi Muyo! franchise, and fan of anime and manga since 2002, though the seeds of my fandom were planted in 1989 when I lived in Japan. I'm a big supporter of Japanese honorifics in anime subtitles and manga adaptation. I believe in financially supporting the anime and manga I like, but I refuse to buy stuff just because people think I should. I'm very keen on educating myself with classic anime titles (which I blog about), because often, they have impact of titles of today.
My blogging style tends to be heavily focused on a select few anime series, where I blog individual episodes (currently working through Lupin III: A Woman Named MINE Fujiko, Fate/Zero, Haiyore! Nyarlko-san, and the classic Urusei Yatsura as I have time), following a summary/review style of writing.
For manga, I have a few series I keep current with (Hayate the Combat Butler, Ah! My Goddess, Genshiken Nidaime), but I'm also blogging American published manga series as well (Hayate the Combat Butler, Love Hina Omnibus, and quite a few more).
I do write original pieces, such as my Piracy Wars series (I had planned to have a new one complete for today, but things didn't work out that way), my "Why" series (more in the works), and other random thoughts (Piracy Wars being part of that as well). Sometimes, I have to REALLY get on my soapbox and rant. ^_~
Pretty much, I write what I'm interested in.
Constructive criticism is certainly welcome, though the anti-psycho stalker filters do delay comments from immediately showing up. Thanks for stopping by and hopefully, you voted for me. ^_^ (URL now updated!)
Um, ANB, where's your entry? I searched for both Astro (already said there were no matches) and Tenchi (null results as well). So, where exactly are you?

ReplyDeleteIt's the "drama" ANB is talking about. It's some nut job that's just obsessed with trolling/stalking him just cause ANB liked an anime he didn't.

ReplyDeleteFrank laughed at how an indictment against him is a lack of an Internet presence. Me, I'm just not going to bother responding. One thing I've learned over the years is that people will believe what they want. Many an innocent person has been sent to prison because people wanted to believe said person was guilty. Trial by media is too common today where innocent folks are immediately painted to be guilty s to advance a narrative.
